About the role
The Manager, Revenue is responsible for overseeing and managing the brokerage revenue function of the Company. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure service standards are met and effective revenue and accounts receivable (A/R) procedures are in place.
The Manager, Revenue oversees the integration of acquired companies into the revenue function, and manages the development and implementation of standardized processes, key performance indicators (KPIs), and controls and procedure documentation with a shared services mindset. The Manager, Revenue leads a team of revenue professionals and fosters a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
The Manager, Revenue will:
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Manage the month-end revenue process, enabling timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the Accounting, Trust, and FP&A teams to review and reconcile revenue figures and resolves any issues.
- Support other month-end close processes as required.
- Maintain strong carrier and client relationships; fosters a client-centric service approach ensuring timely and accurate resolution of inquiries, complex issues, or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the Integration team, the Accounting team, the Treasury team, and business unit finance teams on integration of acquired companies; oversee the integration activities for the revenue function.
- Manage standardization and process optimization efforts within the revenue function with a shared services mindset.
- Ensure improvements in revenue-related policies and procedures and monitors compliance across the organization.
- Ensure effective KPIs and KPI reporting are in place for the revenue function and assess performance against KPIs and takes corrective actions as needed.
- Utilize Workday and EPIC software to manage the revenue and accounts receivable process.
- Support project delivery including automation initiatives, as required.
- Lead a team of revenue professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and support in their day-to-day activities.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provides ongoing feedback to team members.
- Identify training needs and coordinates training programs to enhance the team’s technical and professional skills.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
To be successful as a Manager, Revenue with People Corporation, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of revenue and accounts receivable principles, processes, and best practices; solid knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in using Workday software for revenue and accounts receivable management.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Effective change-management leadership skills that will deliver change to support the Company’s priorities.
- Strong planning and organization skills, including managing and coordinating tasks and project plans.
- Ability to develop and implement revenue management strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Acquisition and integration experience would be considered an asset.

Salary Range
The base salary for this position is between $95,000 - $115,000 annually.
This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e. annual bonus, commission etc.). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
