Here’s the job opportunity…
As a Compliance Testing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, conducting and reporting compliance controls testing engagements. You will act as a member of the ivari Distribution Compliance team and will carry out controls testing engagements and deliver quality work in accordance with regulatory requirements and ivari market conduct policy.

As a Compliance Testing Manager, you will …
- Manage and conduct the annual managing general agent (MGA) compliance review survey, onsite controls testing, and audits
- Analyze and review information according to standard survey criteria, identify gaps, verify content for quality and compliance; draft observations/ findings and recommendations
- Understand regulatory requirements and ivari policies to ensure testing is designed to identify potential control gaps and non-compliance
- Conduct controls testing, scoping, sampling, and reporting of test results
- Prepare and distribute results detailing findings and recommendations
- Track and report the status of remediation and validation of open issues
- Examine documents to verify content, compliance, and identify anomalies
- Conduct market conduct and sales practice reviews of life insurance agents
- Assist the Compliance team with other tasks as may be required by senior manager
What we are looking for…
- Post-secondary education that would align with the position
- Must have audit and accounting designation, CPA, CMA, CGA, CIA or its equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in controls testing or internal audit
- Technical knowledge and skills of testing processes and methodologies
- Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities
- A self-starter who takes initiative, is detail oriented, and deals well with ambiguity
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- An ability to work independently and proactively
- French language is an asset
What we pay…
Pay Range: $80,000 - $108,000
