Key Responsibilities Execute trades and monitor positions during US market hours. Conduct market research and analyze trends, news, and economic indicators affecting US and Canadian crypto markets. Assist senior traders in refining trading strategies and risk management processes. Track and report trade activity and portfolio performance using dashboards and spreadsheets. Collaborate with developers, traders, and other team members to ensure efficient and accurate trades. Maintain strict adherence to risk limits, procedures, and trading protocols. Stay informed on crypto markets, DeFi innovations, and relevant regulatory developments in Canada and the US.
Requirements 1–2 years of professional trading experience or a strong foundation in crypto trading concepts. Previous crypto trading experience is highly preferred. Solid understanding of trading instruments (spot, futures), funding rates, and leverage. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret market data. Basic familiarity with spreadsheets or simple scripting for trade tracking; programming proficiency is a plus. Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset. Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced trading environment. Willingness to work on-site in Toronto and commit to structured training and mentorship. Flexible to work additional hours if required.
