About the role

AVP Strategic Sales opportunity with a growing B2B software company to build on an established customer base and scale its commercial presence across Canada.

The business has already built strong momentum internationally and has an established foothold within the Canadian financial services market. The opportunity now is to build on those relationships, develop a stronger regional partner network and create a more scalable commercial operation.

This is a role for someone who understands how enterprise SaaS businesses grow recurring revenue over time, not just how to win individual deals.

The opportunity

The company provides enterprise software used by regulated organisations with complex operational and compliance requirements. Customers expect long-term technology partners who can support large-scale deployments, evolving business needs and executive-level relationships.

Canada represents one of the business's most important growth markets. Rather than starting from scratch, you'll inherit existing enterprise customers and be responsible for turning that early traction into a larger, more predictable commercial business.

You'll own the Canadian market, balancing strategic account growth with targeted new business development while working closely with the global partnerships team to strengthen relationships with regional technology partners, systems integrators and other strategic allies.

There is already a solid platform to build from. What's needed now is someone who can create greater commercial momentum, deepen customer relationships and expand the company's presence across Canada's enterprise market.

The role

You'll be responsible for growing the Canadian business through a combination of strategic account leadership, enterprise sales and partner-led growth.

That means developing long-term executive relationships within existing customers, identifying expansion opportunities, winning new enterprise accounts where they strengthen the territory, and building a regional partner network that creates additional routes to market.

Success will include: Growth across an established portfolio of enterprise customers New strategic customer wins within the Canadian market A stronger regional partner ecosystem supporting pipeline and revenue growth Trusted executive relationships across technology, operations, compliance and business leadership Consistent forecasting, territory planning and account strategy Closer collaboration with Product, Marketing and Customer Success to support long-term customer value A commercial platform capable of supporting future regional growth

You'll be expected to operate at both strategic and operational levels. This isn't simply a territory management role. You'll need to develop executive relationships, lead complex commercial discussions, build partner engagement and remain close enough to opportunities to drive them through to successful outcomes.

About you

You'll bring senior experience selling enterprise SaaS or B2B software into complex organisations, with a track record of both winning new business and expanding strategic customer relationships.

You'll be comfortable working with executive stakeholders, navigating long enterprise sales cycles and building trusted relationships that create long-term commercial value.

Relevant experience: Growing enterprise software businesses within Canada Managing large strategic accounts with significant commercial value Selling into financial services or other highly regulated enterprise environments Leading complex enterprise sales involving multiple stakeholders and formal procurement processes Developing partner relationships that generate meaningful commercial opportunities Building territory plans, account strategies and predictable sales pipelines Working successfully within high-growth software businesses

Experience selling enterprise software into regulated industries, particularly financial services, would be especially relevant.

Why it's interesting

This is an opportunity to take ownership of an existing customer base and play a leading role in the next stage of the company's growth across Canada.

You'll inherit genuine commercial traction rather than a blank sheet of paper, while still having the autonomy to shape the regional strategy, build local partnerships and influence how the business grows.

Success in the role is likely to create further opportunities to build capability and leadership within the Canadian business as the region continues to expand.

For someone who combines enterprise sales expertise, commercial judgement and the ability to build markets around existing customer success, this is a highly visible commercial role with significant ownership and scope to shape the Canadian business..

On offer: CAD $180,000-$220,000 base salary plus uncapped commission Remote working across the Greater Toronto Area Opportunity to shape the long-term growth of the Canadian business International exposure and close collaboration with the global leadership team

This would suit a commercial leader who enjoys growing strategic enterprise customers, building trusted partner relationships and creating long-term commercial success within a high-growth software business.
