About the role
Our client, a large and well-established manufacturing organization, is seeking a Senior Consolidation Analyst to join its Corporate Finance team. This role offers exposure to a complex multi-entity environment, supporting the consolidation and financial reporting activities of a diversified group of companies operating across numerous business units. Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate consolidated financial information, supporting senior leadership reporting requirements, and driving continuous improvements to reporting processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation and review of monthly consolidation entries and supporting schedules Review financial submissions from business units and operating entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with reporting requirements Analyze consolidated financial results and provide meaningful insights to support management decision-making Evaluate balance sheet performance across business units, identifying trends, variances, and key performance indicators Assess and monitor the impact of foreign currency fluctuations on consolidated results Act as a key resource and provide guidance to plant controllers, business unit finance teams, and other stakeholders across the organization Support the annual external audit process, including audit requests, documentation, and technical accounting matters Oversee the integrity, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of consolidation and reporting systems Partner with finance and IT teams to improve reporting processes, data reliability, and system functionality Assist with the preparation of presentations and financial materials for executive leadership, Audit Committee meetings, and Board of Directors reporting Prepare ad hoc financial analyses, executive reports, and strategic projects as required
Qualifications CPA designation required 3-5+ years of experience in consolidation, financial reporting, audit, or corporate accounting Strong understanding of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting principles Advanced Excel skills and strong systems aptitude Experience with financial consolidation and reporting platforms is considered a strong asset Proven ability to analyze large volumes of financial and operational data Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Bilingualism in English and French
