Reporting to Director, North American Sales, this position is responsible for establishing relationships & building strategies with the selling teams to drive mutual growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting or exceeding established volume, revenue, and profitability goals.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, annual account analysis to review performance against targets.
- Build and maintains a strong relationship with the assigned customer base to grow and retain business, promote revenue & growth opportunities, and maintain positive internal working relationships to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Regularly report on weekly and monthly sales and revenue generation opportunities
- Respond quickly to changing customer needs and requirements.
- Function as a customer advisor on how to improve customer financial results and goals.
- Provide information on IDEAL products and services to enhance awareness among customers and end users.
- Ensure that the agents receive ongoing training and education on new and existing products through one-on-one meetings, marketing tools, training forums, information videos etc.
- Works in a team selling capacity, ensuring that the appropriate Southwire sales, marketing, and technical expertise is utilized in the most effective manner to build and grow the customers business.
- Maintain all selling activities within allocated selling expense budget.
- Work in an office environment to maintain close relationships with the other stake holders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business and/or marketing. Licensed Electrician (ticketed) is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years sales/account leadership experience within the electrical industry, is preferred handling national sales strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, financial modelling, working with big data and cash flow management.
- Strength in communication and people skills with experience in effectively working in cross functional teams and in delivering presentations to senior management.
- Experience leading team by developing clear goals and expectations and creating an environment of high engagement.
- Experience developing recommendations/projects from inception through implementation.
- Commitment to recruiting, mentoring, training, and retaining a diverse team; the foresight and ability to delegate accordingly.
- Travel requirements for this position could be at times up to 30% or more.
