About the role
Title: Junior Accountant/Portfolio Manager Duration: 6 month contract + extensions Location: Hybrid - 3x per week onsite in Toronto
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 2 years of accounting experience in the insurance industry
- Specifically experience in P&C (property and casualty)
- Accounting knowledge and experience - ie. reconciliations and/or bookkeeping
- Advanced MS Office skills (focus on MS Excel, Power Query)

Job Description The Junior Accountant/Portfolio Manager- Insurance P&C oversees the administration of insurance and/or reinsurance accounts and contracts, from establishing and maintaining contractual data, processing the insurance and/or reinsurance account bookings, claims handling and manage the related cash flow. He/she also supports the underwriters in administrative activities related to the underwriting process.
