Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid-3-4 Days onsite Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 Months Domain: BFSI Pay Rate: CAD 40-45 /hour Incorporated Application Deadline: Aug 30th, 2026
SKILLS REQUIRED
6+ years of hands-on experience in Java-based Test Automation with strong expertise in automation framework development and test execution. Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for web application automation using Java. Hands-on experience with Playwright for cross-browser UI automation and end-to-end testing. Experience in API Automation Testing using REST Assured, including validation of RESTful services and API integration testing. Strong understanding of automation frameworks, test design patterns, and CI/CD integration using tools such as Maven and Jenkins. Experience in developing and maintaining scalable, reusable, and data-driven automation frameworks. Proven experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain, with knowledge of core banking applications, payment systems, and regulatory compliance.
