What will your typical day look like?

Picture yourself as an integral part of a team engaged in providing Finance transformation, controllership, and advisory services to help our clients improve their business. You will analyse issues, contribute to developing recommendations, help to design and implement technologies and construct creative presentations to deliver insightful solutions. On top of this, you will find yourself part of a team of talented professionals who are passionate about putting the client first and getting to the right answer.

Additionally, with a focus on BlackLine, you will:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of BlackLine solutions to support financial processes including reconciliations, analysis, journal entries, and intercompany. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable BlackLine solutions. Ensure alignment of BlackLine solutions with organizational goals and objectives. Administer and maintain the BlackLine platform, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate end-users on BlackLine functionalities and best practices. Oversee the integration of data from various sources into the BlackLine platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Review and optimize end-to-end financial processes and data flows to support efficient period-end closing and consolidation activities and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement. Implement best practices for process and solution design including considerations for internal controls in various regulatory environments. Stay up to date with BlackLine updates and new features, incorporating them into the existing solutions as appropriate.

Enough About Us, Let’s Talk About You

You are someone who is:

8+ years of relevant experience implementing one or more finance technologies 6+ years of experience implementing BlackLine including Financial Close & Consolidation, and/or Intercompany solutions 5+ years of experience leading and managing project teams Knowledgeable of the myriad issues Clients face, with a track record of providing solutions to those issues Able to develop and communicate new ideas and conceptualize innovative approaches and solutions Adept at creating long term business relationships at a senior level Energized by achieving goals in a collaborative environment, and mentoring team members to their highest potential Knowledgeable of market trends, competitor environment, and corporate and business strategies

Note: Canadian travel required with occasional international travel. You should be able to enter the USA to work on client assignments.

Preferred:

Experience with Financial Reporting, Governance Risk and Compliance, Workiva, OneStream, Anaplan, SAP or Oracle considered an asset Strong functional knowledge around financial systems and processes Proven skills as a team member, team lead or project manager on at least one full life cycle implementation A proven resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements Willingness to mentor junior staff Committed to gaining exposure to multiple industries Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint) Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment Ability to collaborate with clients

Positions based in Quebec: Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients and project teams.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $175,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
