About the Role: RMI LLP is seeking an experienced and driven Assurance Senior Manager to lead engagement teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to the strategic growth of our assurance practice. This is a leadership role for a CPA-designated professional with strong technical expertise, a client-focused mindset, and a passion for mentoring high-performing teams.

Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Delivery Lead, oversee and quality review audit and review engagements in accordance with Canadian ASPE, ASNPO, and/or IFRS standards Ensure engagement quality, risk management, and timely delivery of services Provide value-added insights and recommendations to clients

Leadership & Team Development Manage, coach, and mentor managers, seniors, and accountants Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance Participate in recruitment, training, and performance evaluations

Client Relationship Management Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships through proactive communication Identify client needs and recommend appropriate services

Practice Growth & Business Development Contribute to business development initiatives, proposals, and networking activities Identify cross-selling opportunities across the firm’s service lines Support partners in expanding RMI LLP’s market presence

Technical & Compliance Excellence Stay current with changes in accounting and auditing standards and regulations in Canada Provide technical guidance to engagement teams Ensure adherence to firm policies and professional standards

Qualifications:

CPA designation (CPA Canada) required Minimum 6–10+ years of public practice experience, with significant audit experience Demonstrated progression into leadership and management roles Strong knowledge of Canadian auditing and accounting standards (CAS, ASPE, IFRS, ASNPO) Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities Experience working with privately held businesses and/or not-for-profit organizations is required
