The Senior Product Analyst, Collateral Management Services, plays a pivotal role in supporting the Product Management team by delivering in-depth market research, data-driven insights, and detailed operational analysis. In this role, you will analyze market trends, track product performance metrics, and gather stakeholder feedback to directly inform our product strategy and development roadmap. Working collaboratively across cross-functional teams, you will help drive efficient product execution, draft core requirement documentation, and support user acceptance activities. Reports to: Head of Products, CDS Job Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) - based in Toronto, ON. Key Accountabilities Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends,opportunities, and threats. Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify unmet needs and potential product enhancements. Monitor competitor activities and provide insights into market dynamics. Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather and analyze product performance metrics, customer usage data, and financial data. Maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support product decisions. Product Requirements and Documentation: Support the Product Managers in gathering and documenting product and business requirements. Create and maintain product documentation, including user stories, use cases, and functional specifications. Support the development and maintenance of product roadmaps. Customer and Stakeholder Support: Assist in gathering and analyzing customer feedback through surveys, interviews, and other methods. Support the Product Manager in communicating product updates and information to stakeholders. Assist in resolving product-related issues and inquiries. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with technology, operations, and other teams to support product development and execution. Provide analytical support to cross-functional projects. Assist in the testing and validation of product features. Must Have(s) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Experience: 3–5+ years of relevant experience in product analysis, market research, or financial analysis. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Advanced Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau). Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to translate raw qualitative and quantitative data into actionable business insights. Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with an ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences. Collaboration: Proven track record of working effectively within collaborative, cross-functional team environments. Nice to Have(s) In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, with specific experience in post-trade services. Direct domain experience in collateral management services. Salary Range: $90K/year - $120K/year CAD. Please note that the salary range included is a guideline only.
