An acceptable equivalent of education, training, and related experience may be considered. A post-secondary degree with a focus in accounting/finance or actively working towards a professional accounting designation will be considered assets.   In addition, you have proficiency in SAP Accounts Receivable or comparable large Enterprise Resource Planning Application (ERP). In addition, the successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to analyze and reconcile accounts and determine causes of variances. They will also have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Good judgement to identify sensitive and/or urgent issues that require the ability to research, compile and evaluate information in a timely manner. An ability to work in a consultative manner with internal and external clients is also required.   A working knowledge and/or training in SAP Accounts Payable, General Ledger Business Warehouse would be a definite asset. A working knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply government policies and procedures would also be an asset.   Proficiency in the use of PC computer systems, database systems, internet-based applications, spreadsheets, and word-processing packages is essential. The successful candidate must also be capable of assessing constantly changing and competing priorities while meeting deadlines and other pressures in a high volume, team-oriented environment with a customer service focus.
