Purpose:The Senior Technical Analyst supports the success of Global Transaction Banking (GTB) in Canada by executing goals and initiatives aligned with business strategies while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. You will be part of a team of analysts providing technical support for corporate and international clients across all cash management products, resolving inquiries via phone and email with timely, accurate solutions to maintain client confidence. Responsibilities include managing escalations, and ensuring service standards, including coverage during select holidays for international clients.This role also involves onboarding and supporting electronic cash management services for Scotiabank’s top-tier commercial and corporate clients, while driving process improvements to optimize service delivery. What You'll Do:
Provide timely and accurate technical support to corporate and international clients across all GTB cash management products via phone and email. Manage and resolve client escalations, ensuring adherence to service standards and maintaining client confidence. Assist with onboarding and implementation of electronic cash management services for top-tier commercial and corporate clients. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to optimize call handling, fulfillment, and overall service delivery. Ensure compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures in all client interactions and operational activities. Collaborate with internal teams on projects and contribute to quality management initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
Strong knowledge in electronic cash management, especially in payments and reporting. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments and with clients. Fluency in English and either Spanish and/or French Experience managing client relationships in a financial services or banking environment. Familiarity with operational risk, regulatory compliance, and AML/ATF frameworks. A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive team culture. Expert understanding of GTB products offerings and services

Work Arrangement:
This role operates on a rotating shift schedule, including 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Schedules are subject to change based on business need.
