About the role

We're looking for an Expansion Sales Representative to help grow our partner network by developing relationships with accounting and bookkeeping firms across Canada. In this role, you'll own the partnership sales process from first contact to signed agreement, while working alongside a supportive and collaborative sales team. What you will do:
Execute outbound prospecting campaigns targeting accounting and bookkeeping firms. Identify and engage prospective partners through phone, email, and other outreach channels. Discover client needs and position our solutions to help them succeed. Deliver engaging product demonstrations and answer questions about our products and services. Negotiate partnership agreements and successfully close new opportunities. Transition signed partnership accounts to the appropriate Regional Sales Representative for onboarding and long-term relationship management.
Core Responsibilities:
Manage your Sales Pipeline
Qualify partnership opportunities and manage them through the entire sales cycle. Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and outcomes within CRM. Follow established prospecting workflows, outreach strategies, and sales playbooks. Consistently meet activity and partnership signing targets.
Support Business Growth
Identify expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts. Support initiatives designed to migrate customers from desktop solutions to online platforms. Work closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Onboarding, and Regional Sales Representatives to ensure a seamless customer experience. Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, and professional development activities.
Contribute to Continuous Improvement
Share ideas to improve sales messaging, prospecting strategies, and team processes. Help foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing sales culture. Take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed.
What you bring:
Education and Experience
Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or another client-facing role. Experience with outbound prospecting, cold calling, or full-cycle sales is considered an asset. Experience using CRM platforms is an asset. English/French speaker preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Confidence speaking with prospects and delivering presentations. Excellent organization, follow-up, and attention to detail. Strong relationship-building abilities. Effective negotiation and persuasion skills. Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Work Environment
Location: Hybrid (primarily office-based with flexibility) Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Travel: Occasional travel may be required for trade shows and industry events.
