What You’ll Be Doing Prepare Notice to Reader financial statements and corporate/personal tax returns Complete bank reconciliations and manage A/R and A/P Process payroll and handle WCB, GST, and T4 filings Maintain accurate accounting records and support year-end processes Prepare invoices, statements, and other client documentation Reconcile transactions across payables, receivables, payroll, and bank accounts Assist with budgeting and cost analysis Work closely with contract team members by coordinating deliverables, reviewing outputs, and managing workflow Communicate with clients and follow up on outstanding items Support CPAs with file prep and review bookkeeping work Maintain organized records and assist with general admin tasks Contribute to team meetings and ongoing professional development What You Bring Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines High attention to detail and strong sense of accountability A client-focused mindset with solid interpersonal skills Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, etc.) Familiarity with Caseware, Taxprep, and Microsoft Office is an asset Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes Experience Solid background in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting Experience with A/P, A/R, and payroll Understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements Public practice experience is an asset
