

About the role
Company: Marsh Description: Responsible for a portfolio of clients and managing the day to day activities of those captive insurance companies. Prepares financial statements in an accurate and timely manner, including supplemental financial information required by the client. Be familiar with international clients' unique rules and regulations. Reconciles cash and investment accounts. Prepare bank deposits and cash disbursements. Assists in the completion of the annual audit for clients, which can include preparation of regulatory filings and GAAP financial statements. Helps ensure legal and regulatory compliance processes and procedures are followed for local accounting and financial reporting. Maintains client files in accordance with regulations and best practices. Learns and develops client and third party providers relationships. Corresponds with other service providers. Including reviewing, analyzing and discuss any reports provided by the service providers (eg. actuaries, auditors, claims handlers, etc) Prepares board and committee meeting materials and participate in the annual board of directors' meeting and other client meetings. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
