Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, growth focused Financial Analyst to join the Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is responsible for income statement financial reporting, analysis, and core accounting support, while contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and overall business performance insights.
The Analyst will work closely with the finance team to support decision-making, monitor financial performance, and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial results.
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial reporting, including revenue analysis, accruals (deferred and accrued revenue and expense), and variance commentary Analyse financial results to identify and communicate trends impacting finance performance Support monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes for assigned business units Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate financial reporting Partner with business leadership to review results, provide insights, and support decision-making Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and respond to evolving business needs Support audit requirements and ensure adherence to internal controls and policies Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and data quality
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in financial analysis and/or accounting Post-secondary education Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills (lookup/sum/logic formulas and pivot tables) Analytical mindset with high attention to detail Effective communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems

Salary Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $65-$75k CAD per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications.
