About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Montreal. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Month end financial Statement
- Perform Journal Entries
- Prepare tax remittances (GST/QST, DAS, CNESST, etc.)
- Prepare Payroll & Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Analyze financial statements, budgets and forecasts.
- Perform variance analysis between actual results and budgeted targets.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators.
- Conduct profitability, cost, and operational performance analyses.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for management.
- Work closely with accounting, finance, and operational teams.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes
- Ensure compliance with provincial and federal financial regulations
- Participate in year-end audit preparation and support external auditors as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
- 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in an accounting and analyst role
- Proficiency with accounting ERP and software (e.g., NetSuite, Business Central, QuickBooks) and reporting tools
- Very Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with Quebec and Canadian tax regulations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in French and English
