What is the opportunity?
As part of the National Tax Services team with RBC Royal Trust, the Tax Administrator provides efficient administrative support to a team of Tax Managers. You will be accountable for accurate data and file management to help support the preparation and administration of a large number of tax returns. Being a tech-savvy individual with attention to detail and experience with electronic filing and digital documentation are key components of this position.
What will you do?
Maintain digital tax folders and export key documents Sort and scan Canada Post mail and digital mail Act as the support resource to Tax Managers Prepare Excel spreadsheets and Adobe documents Organize digital data and runs Assist Tax Officers with mailings of client tax documentation Communicate with the CRA and RQ Follow established standards and procedures
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Proficiency in Excel, Adobe, and ability to easily learn new software and business applications Ability to organize data with meticulous attention to detail Resourcefulness and ability to demonstrate strong technical skills to assist with digital documents Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Nice-to-have
Knowledge of basic data analysis using pivot tables, filters, and rules Previous office administration experience
