THE OPPORTUNITY
The accounting technician supports the team in processing transactions, analyzing variances, helping to prepare year-end files, and carrying out accounting activities across the various management companies.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using computerized bookkeeping systems

Prepare various financial and accounting reports

Reconcile vendor statements of account

Process payments by cheque and by credit and debit cards

Calculate and prepare cheques for utility bills, taxes and other payments
-
Issue cheques and electronic fund transfers (EFTs)

Document and prepare invoices and purchase orders
-
Answer various questions from suppliers regarding their accounts and expected payments
SALARY
- $72 010 to 76 000 per year (to be negotiated)
QUALIFICATIONS

College diploma in accounting or related field;

Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience;

Experience in residential, commercial, industrial or hotel real estate, an asset;

Knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel and Yardi software;

Fluency in spoken and written French.
WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Permanent, full time (40 hours per week)

Hybrid work model: option to work from home one day a week after the probationary period
