As a Product Solutions Lead, Residential Lending, you will play a key role in shaping the design and evolution of residential lending products, platforms, and supporting capabilities. This role focuses on translating business objectives into scalable, integrated, and customer-centric solutions that enable long-term growth and operational efficiency. Working closely with Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, and Lender Relations teams, you will help define future-state capabilities, evaluate solution approaches, and guide the evolution of lending platforms. The role requires strong systems thinking, technical fluency, and the ability to connect business needs with application design, APIs, integrations, data flows, and platform capabilities.

The successful candidate will bring a blend of product expertise, solution design experience, and technology knowledge to help ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE: Product Strategy & Capability Evolution Help define and evolve strategic product and capability roadmaps for residential lending solutions Identify opportunities for modernization, automation, and product differentiation Assess capability gaps and support development of future-state operating and technology models Ensure product direction considers both immediate business needs and long-term platform objectives Solution Design & Systems Thinking Collaborate with business and technology teams to design end-to-end solution approaches for complex initiatives Evaluate solution options and architectural trade-offs across business, process, data, integration, and technology layers Define scalable solution patterns that support growth, flexibility, and operational efficiency Support creation of target-state solution models and transition roadmaps Ensure new capabilities align with broader platform strategies and enterprise objectives Platform, API & Integration Design Partner with technology teams to define API, integration, and service interaction requirements Assess system dependencies, data flows, platform boundaries, and integration approaches Promote reusable services and capabilities that reduce duplication and improve platform consistency Support evolution toward modern, API-enabled and event-driven platform architectures Identify opportunities to simplify complex processes through improved system design and integration strategies Technology Enablement & Modernization Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions are maintainable, resilient, secure, and scalable Support evaluation of emerging technologies, cloud-native capabilities, AI, and automation opportunities Contribute to modernization initiatives focused on improving platform performance and business agility Help balance delivery priorities with technical sustainability and long-term platform health Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Engineering teams to align priorities and solution outcomes Facilitate discussions that bridge business requirements and technical implementation considerations Support development teams in understanding business context and desired customer outcomes Build strong partnerships across business and technology stakeholders Performance & Continuous Improvement Define success measures for strategic initiatives and platform enhancements Use data and operational insights to identify improvement opportunities Drive continuous optimization of products, capabilities, and customer journeys Promote a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING: 8+ years of experience in solution design, product management, systems analysis, platform strategy, enterprise transformation, or related disciplines Experience designing complex business and technology solutions within large-scale organizations Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, integrations, data flows, application ecosystems, and platform-based architectures Experience defining target-state capabilities, solution roadmaps, and modernization strategies Understanding of modern software delivery practices, cloud technologies, microservices, and event-driven architectures Ability to evaluate trade-offs across business value, scalability, complexity, cost, risk, and maintainability Familiarity with AI, automation, and emerging digital technologies Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking capabilities Experience within residential lending, financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries is an asset Total Direct Compensation: $122,000 to $149,200 Any pay range is in $CAD. The stated pay range reflects the total expected compensation for this role (e.g., base pay plus any expected incentives or allowances, where applicable)
