About the role

Our Cambridge branch office is in need of an accounting clerk to fill an opening in June.
Responsibilities include:
· Processing payments received by cheque, Interac, credit card, online bill payment, or wire
· Quickbooks Online ? A/R, A/P, and bank reconciliations
· Bank deposits, filing, scanning, and other accounting-related tasks
· Preparing physical and electronic statements for clients
· Assisting with client inquiries
We are seeking a candidate who:
· Has careful attention to detail
· Good communication skills
· The ability to work independently and self-manage responsibilities
· At least two years experience with QBO
· Proficiency in Excel
· Experience dealing with business vendors and clients
We will offer the successful candidate:
· A monthly salary in the range of $2900-3400, dependent on experience
· Profit sharing on a monthly basis
· A flexible schedule (while covering responsibilities)
· The ability to work hybrid in-office/remote after first 30 days
