POSITION

 Dynamics 365 FSC (Finance and Supply Chain) Integration Lead

THE MANDATE

Reporting to delivery or technical leadership, the Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain (FSC) Integration Lead is a hands-on integration specialist responsible for designing, building, and supporting integrations to and from D365 FSC. This role plays a key part in implementations and migrations, including Dynamics GP to D365 FSC, with ownership of integration and interface delivery.

As an active practitioner, the Integration Lead works directly within integration tools and frameworks while collaborating closely with functional leads, architects, and business stakeholders.  The role ensures integrations are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with both solution architecture and business processes.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Integration Delivery and Support

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations to and from Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain, including batch and near real-time patterns
  • Build and maintain integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., Prophix, ADP, and other finance, HR, and analytics platforms)
  • Define and maintain integration artifacts, including interface specifications, field mappings, transformations, error handling, and monitoring frameworks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-to-end integration issues related to data quality, connectivity, security, and performance, taking ownership through resolution
  • Collaborate with functional, technical, and vendor teams to ensure integrations align with business processes, controls, and reporting requirements
  • Support UAT, cutover, go-live readiness, and post-go-live stabilization (HyperCare)
  • Document integration designs, assumptions, reconciliation rules, and operational support procedures

Migration and Data Integration

  • Contribute to Dynamics 365 FSC migration initiatives (Dynamics GP preferred), including assessment of current-state integrations and definition of target-state patterns
  • Design and support integration strategies for transition scenarios (e.g., coexistence, parallel runs, and cutover sequencing)
  • Support data validation and reconciliation across core business objects (financials, customers, vendors, inventory, and project/job costing data)

Integration Architecture and Practices

  • Partner with architects to align integrations with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and non-functional requirements (performance, reliability, scalability)
  • Contribute to integration standards, patterns, and design reviews, promoting best practices (e.g., API-first, event-driven, or governed batch approaches)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong understanding of ERP integration concepts, patterns, and enterprise data flows
  • Solid understanding of finance and supply chain data domains and transactional lifecycles
  • Ability to work independently on integration delivery while collaborating effectively within a broader ERP program

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of5–8 years of ERP or enterprise integration experience
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain integrations strongly preferred
  • Experience integrating D365 with enterprise systems (e.g., Prophix, ADP, and other finance, HR, or business platforms)
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, migrations, or major system transitions
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting issues across integration layers
