The Role

The Senior Vice President, Corporate Channel is accountable for the national strategy, performance, and operating model of IG Wealth Management’s Corporate Channel.

Reporting to the EVP, Head of Sales & Distribution, this role leads a scaled distribution business across two service models: a centralized, pooled team of advisors serving clients collectively (Wealth Connect), and a firm-employed, advisor-led channel with dedicated client relationships (Dedicated Advice). The role is accountable for driving growth, enhancing advisor effectiveness, improving client outcomes, and integrating the capabilities required to sustain performance at scale.

Operating at an enterprise level, the SVP translates strategy into measurable outcomes across regions and service models, ensuring consistent execution, strong governance, and alignment with broader distribution and client priorities. The role holds end-to-end accountability for financial performance, operating efficiency, and the ongoing evolution of the Corporate Channel as a core enterprise distribution capability.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Channel Strategy & Business Performance

Own and deliver the national Corporate Channel strategy aligned to enterprise priorities. Establish performance metrics, governance routines, and business discipline across regions. Oversee annual business planning including advisor growth, productivity, and client retention. Use data and insights to optimize channel effectiveness and remove performance barriers.

Executive Leadership & Channel Integration

Lead a national leadership team across Dedicated Channel regions and Wealth Connect. Establish operating rhythms and accountability frameworks to drive consistent execution. Build a high-performance culture focused on outcomes and continuous improvement.

Talent, Workforce Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness

Own workforce strategy, including capacity planning, leadership development, and succession. Ensure organizational design enables execution at scale. Advisor Support, Service Delivery & Channel Enablement Ensure advisor support models and service infrastructure enable consistent client outcomes. Improve workflows, service models, and advisor productivity

Enterprise Partnership, Transformation & Change Delivery

Partner across Technology, Operations, Risk, Marketing, and HR to deliver transformation. Lead change initiatives supporting growth, efficiency, and capability development. Governance, Risk & Executive Accountability Provide oversight for governance, compliance, and regulatory adherence. Lead governance forums and enterprise decision-making related to channel priorities. Identify & implement further AI and automation to improve service and drive scalability

Advisor Distribution Expertise

Deep understanding of advisor-led distribution models and financial planning ecosystems.

Governance and Risk - Experience operating within regulated environments with strong governance discipline.

Strong communication and executive presence with ability to influence senior stakeholders.

As this position is posted in Montréal, Toronto and Winnipeg, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English.
