The role manages external valuator relationships, develops direct reports, and champions technology and AI to enhance efficiency and governance. Day-to-day, the Senior Manager will engage with BCI's private markets asset class teams, external valuators, auditors, and the Valuation Committee. The Valuations team operates at the intersection of investment management and financial reporting – a high-visibility function within Finance.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced valuations professional who brings demonstrated expertise in valuation methodologies for illiquid assets – DCF, market multiples, and income approaches across infrastructure, private equity, private debt, and real assets. Exceptional analytical skills, business acumen, and relationship-building skills will be required, as is the ability to communicate complex valuation matters with clarity and conviction to senior management and committee audiences.

The role is based in BCI’s office in Victoria, BC, and the Senior Manager will have a chance to join a world-class organization and culture, which has been recognized as One of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 7 consecutive years.
