About the role
WE ARE SEEKING A FULL-TIME PERMANENT DIRECTOR, SOLUTIONS TO JOIN OUR SOLUTIONS TEAM.
Reporting directly to the Head of Solutions, the Director, Solutions will support the evolution of our investment technology ecosystem and enterprise project delivery capabilities. This role serves as the business owner for the firm’s portfolio management platform (Calypso), driving its roadmap, ongoing enhancement, and alignment with the needs of the business.
The role will also support the business delivery of key technology initiatives, including investment data platforms, order management systems (OMS), and other strategic solutions. Working closely with Portfolio Management, Trading Operations, Technology, and external partners, the successful candidate will translate business needs into scalable technology solutions while strengthening project management practices across the organization.
THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIRECTOR, SOLUTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Product & Solution Leadership
- Serve as the business product owner for the firm's portfolio management platform (Calypso), establishing the product strategy, roadmap, governance, and ongoing evolution to support the firm's investment management capabilities.
- Partner with business and technology teams to optimize workflows, improve user experience, and maximize platform capabilities.
Strategic Project Delivery
- Support the business implementation of strategic investment technology initiatives, including investment data platforms, order management systems (OMS), and other enterprise investment solutions.
- Define business requirements and collaborate with Technology and vendors on solution design, implementation, and systems integration.
- Manage project scope, risks, timelines, stakeholder communications, and organizational change to ensure successful delivery.
- Continuously improve project governance, methodologies, and delivery practices across the organization.

REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant post-secondary education and professional
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, business solutions, project delivery, or technology leadership within investment management or financial services.
- Experience serving as the business owner or product owner for enterprise
- Proven success leading complex technology implementations, systems integrations, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience with portfolio management systems, investment data platforms, order management systems (OMS), or related investment technologies.
- Strong understanding of investment management operations, fixed income markets, investment products, and technology-enabled business processes.
- Project or product management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum Product Owner, CBAP) are considered an asset.
