Accounting Manager / Controller Pinnacle Glass and Aluminum Ltd. is a growing commercial glazing contractor serving the Lower Mainland and throughout British Columbia. We specialize in architectural glass and aluminum systems for commercial, institutional, healthcare, and multi-family construction projects.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager / Controller to strengthen our finance function. This is a strategic, hands-on role working closely with ownership and our Finance & Administration Manager to improve financial reporting, cash flow management, and business performance.

We already have an established bookkeeping function. This role provides financial leadership by overseeing the accounting function, improving financial processes, and supporting management with timely, accurate financial information.

Responsibilities Lead month-end and year-end financial close Review monthly financial statements and ensure accuracy Develop and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts Monitor project profitability, job costing, and financial performance Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis Review accounts receivable, accounts payable, and working capital Review payroll prior to processing Oversee and support the existing bookkeeping function Improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and reporting processes Liaise with external CPA, financial institutions, and government agencies Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business growth

Qualifications CPA designation preferred Minimum 5 years of accounting leadership experience Previous Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar experience Construction accounting experience strongly preferred Experience with job costing, progress billing, and holdbacks Strong knowledge of cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting Experience with QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
