Hiring: Model Risk Product Owner Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid) Duration: 6-Month Contract We are seeking an experienced Model Risk Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of a Loss Forecast Platform supporting CCAR and internal loss forecasting processes. This role will partner with Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to define product strategy, manage the roadmap, and deliver scalable, compliant risk solutions in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for the Loss Forecast Platform. Gather, prioritize, and translate business requirements into user stories and manage the product backlog. Partner with Agile development teams to deliver high-quality platform enhancements. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CCAR, DFAST, CECL, and SR 11-7. Collaborate with model development, validation, and business stakeholders to support loss forecasting capabilities. Drive continuous product improvement using user feedback and data-driven insights. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5–7+ years of Product Owner/Product Management or Business Analysis experience in financial services. 5+ years of hands-on experience with CCAR, DFAST, CECL, or regulatory stress testing and loss forecasting. Strong knowledge of retail credit risk, risk modeling concepts (PD, LGD, EAD), and Agile methodologies. Experience with SQL, data analytics, and large-scale data platforms. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
