Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst is responsible for all revenue and expense analysis, reporting and reconciliation. This position will be responsible for all revenue data inputs and expenses for all entities including journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations.
Pay: CA$80,000.00 per year In Office: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
Lead/manage/responsible for the tracking of revenue from all productions ensuring remittances match fully executed contracts, payments received + upload to WEB Platform. Provide weekly remittance revenue reporting to Director of Finance, Accounting Manager and Officers inclusive of analysis commentary summarizing recommended next steps. Prepare monthly Income Statement Analysis for five (5) legal entities, with comparative to previous fiscal year. Daily monitoring of Prepaid transactions, formal balanced reconciliation(s) to be submitted to the Director of Finance for review/approval. Daily monitoring of Fixed Asset transactions, formal balanced reconciliation(s) to be submitted to the Director of Finance for review/approval. Daily monitoring of Intercompany transactions, formal balanced reconciliation to be submitted to the Director of Finance for review/approval. Assists in special projects as required. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of financial analysis experience. Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial statements. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience. Designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) is a must. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Must have Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills. Strong assessment skills and ability to identify issues and provide recommendations. Comfortable with shifting priorities and new challenges within a continually evolving environment. Maintain the highest standards of accuracy and precision; excellent attention to detail, result-focused, highly-organized and resourceful.
