This is an opportunity to lead the creation of an innovative financial empowerment product designed to help families and younger audiences build stronger financial habits.
You will own the full product lifecycle, transforming early-stage ideas into impactful digital experiences from concept to launch and beyond.
The role combines product strategy, user research, fintech expertise, and cross-functional leadership to solve meaningful customer challenges.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, financial institutions, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted and engaging solutions.
This position is ideal for a product leader passionate about financial education, inclusion, and creating products that make a measurable difference.
You will play a key role in shaping a new category of digital financial experiences while working in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.
Accountabilities
As a Product Manager Level III, you will take ownership of the strategy, development, and growth of a financial literacy product focused on empowering children and families. You will guide teams through discovery, execution, and optimization while ensuring products deliver meaningful value to users and partners.
Own the end-to-end product roadmap, from initial discovery and requirements gathering through launch, iteration, and long-term growth. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive trends, and opportunities within financial education and fintech. Develop user personas, journey maps, and detailed user stories that represent the needs of children, parents, and guardians. Partner with engineering, design, QA, and business teams to define product requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Collaborate with financial institution partners to understand member needs and ensure products create value for families and communities. Lead product ideation, feature development, prioritization, and launch strategies that encourage financial engagement, savings behaviors, and literacy. Translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes and act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. Manage product backlogs, prioritize initiatives, and align execution with broader product and business objectives. Define key product metrics, analyze user engagement data, and continuously improve experiences based on insights and feedback. Ensure product initiatives meet regulatory and compliance requirements related to financial products for younger audiences.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader with a strong background in fintech, digital banking, or financial education. You should combine strategic thinking, customer empathy, and execution skills to build products that solve real-world financial challenges.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Education, or a related field. 7+ years of product management experience within fintech, digital banking, financial wellness, or financial education environments. Proven experience managing products through the complete lifecycle, including 0-to-1 product creation, launch, and growth phases. Strong passion for financial empowerment, financial education, and building products that support families or underserved communities. Experience understanding and navigating compliance and regulatory requirements for financial products, particularly those involving minors. Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and translate customer insights into successful product strategies. Strong experience creating user stories, managing complex roadmaps, and coordinating multiple stakeholders. Experience working with financial institutions, credit unions, or community banking environments is highly valued. Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments or relevant certification is a plus.
