About The Role
As a Senior DevOps Developer within our Cloud Platforms and Services Management team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the bank’s digital infrastructure. This position demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cloud computing, automation, and DevOps practices. Your expertise will drive the development and support of integrated platforms that enable secure, scalable, and efficient application deployment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, optimize existing processes, and contribute to the bank’s ongoing digital transformation efforts. The role offers a unique opportunity to influence the bank’s technological direction, ensuring robust, reliable, and secure cloud services that support business objectives and enhance customer experiences.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Between 5 to 10 years of professional experience in Python and Terraform development, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS and Azure. Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Github, EKS, Hashicorp Vault, Terraform Cloud (TFC), Datadog, and Splunk. Solid knowledge of software development best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and scripting. A valid AWS certification demonstrating cloud expertise. Experience with continuous integration and deployment methodologies. Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously, think creatively, and influence stakeholders effectively.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain an integrated cloud platform that supports application teams in creating secure and scalable solutions. Contribute to the enhancement of Cloud and DevSecOps tools by developing templates or participating in code sharing initiatives across teams. Propose and implement innovative ideas that lead to new features or products, aligning with the bank’s strategic goals. Write, review, and optimize code in Python, Terraform, and Bash across multiple codebases, ensuring high quality and maintainability. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to define priorities and refine product backlogs. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to guide and influence the effective use of cloud products and services. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines to ensure optimal performance and security. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into the bank’s cloud strategies.
