Project Controls Coordinator

Bros Welding & Services Ltd. is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator to support industrial and mining projects with a major Saskatchewan client.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in developing a career in project controls, project accounting, cost management, and project delivery. We are willing to train the right candidate and welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds.
About the Role: You will support project teams with cost tracking, forecasting, reporting, and project administration activities. Working closely with project managers, contractors, site personnel, and finance teams, you'll play an important role in supporting successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities: · Support project setup, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting · Monitor project costs and assist with budget updates · Assist with monthly reporting, accruals, and project documentation · Attend project meetings and support project status reporting · Maintain project records and documentation · Provide administrative and reporting support to project teams · Work collaboratively with operations, finance, contractors, and stakeholders
Qualifications: We are willing to train the right candidate. Relevant backgrounds may include: · Project administration or project coordination · Accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or office administration · Operations support or similar business roles
Preferred qualifications: · Post-secondary education in business, accounting, finance, administration, or a related field · Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills · Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, reporting, accounting systems, or ERP systems is an asset · Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint is beneficial
Work Environment: · Site-based role located in the Lanigan area · Candidates from Lanigan, Humboldt, Saskatoon and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply · Typical schedule is four 10-hour days per week, providing extended weekends

Bros Welding and Services Ltd. is a family owned welding company, operated by Darren Helstrom in Lanigan, Saskatchewan. Bros Welding was opened in 2008 to serve the diverse needs of the oil and gas, construction, agricultural and mining sectors in Saskatchewan.
Darren, a journeyperson welder that holds pressure tickets and CWB certification, brings 20 years of experience in the welding industry to Bros Welding. In our 9,000 square foot shop we have a wide variety of equipment and space available to do metal fabrication, punching, drilling, machining, plasma cutting and equipment repairs and maintenance. Our service trucks also provide the opportunity for portable fabrication and welding services, as well as structural steel and equipment installations.
We are more than a welding company. Services include construction, fabrication, portable and pressure welding, structural steel and equipment installation, small machining, bobcat services and metal sales
