As part of the office's ongoing digital asset strategy, we are hiring a Senior Crypto Investment Manager to take direct responsibility for a substantial cryptocurrency portfolio. This is a senior, hands-on position for a candidate who has managed real capital in crypto markets and is comfortable operating with a high degree of independence and accountability. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow a multi-million dollar crypto portfolio in line with the office's risk parameters and investment objectives Execute trading and rebalancing decisions across centralized and decentralized exchanges Oversee custody and security of digital assets, including the use of non-custodial wallets and cold storage solutions Monitor on-chain activity, market conditions and DeFi protocol performance to inform allocation decisions Evaluate new tokens, protocols and yield opportunities, including associated risks Maintain detailed records of holdings, transactions and portfolio performance for internal reporting Advise the office on emerging risks, regulatory developments and market shifts relevant to the portfolio Coordinate with legal, compliance and finance functions as required Requirements Proven track record managing a substantial crypto portfolio, ideally at a multi-million dollar level Strong practical experience with non-custodial wallets, including Ledger, Trezor, MetaMask and Phantom Hands-on experience trading on both centralized and decentralized exchanges Solid understanding of on-chain analytics tools and how to interpret them for investment decisions Working knowledge of major DeFi protocols and their associated risks Demonstrated discipline in risk management when handling significant capital Ability to work independently, make sound decisions under uncertainty and take ownership of outcomes Based in Canada or willing to work remotely within Canada Preferred Qualifications Background in traditional finance, asset management or private banking Experience working with family offices or high net worth principals Familiarity with regulatory considerations for digital assets in Canada Additional languages an asset Compensation and Location This role offers a base salary of USD 170,000 to 260,000 per year, depending on experience and demonstrated skills.
