External applicants will not be considered. Position Highlights This is an opportunity for current Support & Recovery Specialists who are seeking a location change. Please note that this posting is open to current Support & Recovery Specialists only. In this role, you will build trusting relationships with customers in a fast paced, shared case management environment. In addition to providing customers with treatment and benefits options, you will also assess customer’s baseline level of function, proactively facilitate the delivery of accident benefits to customers, set recovery goals, implement return-to-function plans and identify recovery milestones. Your natural empathy and well-developed communication skills will aid you in supporting your customers throughout their recovery journey, identifying their needs while also managing their expectations. Your demonstrated skills in building and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders will enable you to collaborate effectively with Claims Specialists, external health care professionals and others. Support & Recovery Specialists work at a single office location, working with customers primarily over the phone. PLEASE NOTE:
The purpose of this posting is to allow changes in assigned location for employees whose primary, regular role is Support & Recovery Specialist. Only applicants whose current primary, regular role is Support & Recovery Specialist will be considered for this lateral posting. The employer shall bear no cost associated with facilitating employee movement as a result of this mass posting. As such, successful candidates will not be entitled to moving expenses further to 20.08 of the Collective Agreement.

Please note there are updates to the hybrid model, starting September. This role will be moving to 2 days per week in office. Hybrid 10 – you will work a minimum of 10 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically one week in/one week out or up to 3 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia. Mobile – you will work a significant amount of time in the field, in addition to working from an office and optionally working remotely within British Columbia. Remote – you will work remotely from within British Columbia, with one required visit to your primary office per month.
