Implement cost optimization strategies by identifying underutilized or idle resources. Automate cloud governance, budgeting, and cost allocation processes. Configure and manage cost alerts, budgets, and forecasting models. Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Finance, and Business teams to control cloud expenditure. Develop scripts and automation using Python, PowerShell, Terraform, or Cloud APIs. Monitor resource utilization and recommend rightsizing opportunities. Implement tagging standards and cost allocation frameworks. Support chargeback/showback models for business units. Perform cloud cost trend analysis and financial forecasting. Ensure compliance with organizational FinOps policies and governance standards. Prepare executive-level cost reports and optimization recommendations. Continuously evaluate new cloud services and pricing models to maximize business value
