About the role
As a Project Accountant in the construction industry, you will manage financial reporting and analysis for projects. You will work closely with project managers to monitor budgets, prepare forecasts, and ensure accurate financial records. Client Details Michael Page is partnering with a reputable General Contractor working on commercial and multi-residential projects. Description 7-10 years of experience preparing and maintaining accurate financial reports for construction projects. Collaborate with project managers to monitor and manage budgets effectively. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle. Manage accounts payable and receivable for assigned projects. Perform cost analysis and provide financial insights to support decision-making. Reconcile project accounts and investigate variances. Assist in preparing project forecasts and cash flow projections. Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
