About the role
Our client, a well-established and recognized company in its industry, is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join their Finance team. Reporting to the Finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounts payable activities while ensuring operational efficiency, process compliance, and high-quality service to both internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the accounts payable department.
- Lead, develop, and motivate a team.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial procedures, and internal controls.
- Ensure accuracy of payments and adherence to deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure process efficiency.
- Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and external partners.
- Participate in audits and respond to stakeholder information requests.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Support the team in analyzing and resolving complex issues.
- Provide professional and efficient service to internal and external clients.
- Perform any other related duties as required.

Requirements
- Degree in accounting or equivalent, with several years of experience in a similar role.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Experience in team management and supervision.
- Bilingualism in French and English required to communicate with English-speaking suppliers (approximately 40% of the time).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel.
- Experience in a technology-driven and automated environment.
