Position Description:
Reporting to the Junior Controller, the Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This role will be involved in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, treasury activities, month-end close, audit support, and finance-related projects.
This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position based at our London, Ontario office. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

What You’ll Do

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Process employee expense reports and complete company credit card reconciliations

Support treasury and cash management activities

Prepare and submit government remittances

Maintain accurate third-party accounting records as part of LBMX’s managed services offering, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related financial transactions

Prepare month-end reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, credit cards, accounts payable, and accrued liabilities

Prepare and maintain working papers and journal entries for period-end close

Maintain customer billing information in Salesforce ERP

Support internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Investigate and resolve errors or discrepancies in account balances

Provide information and support for year-end audit engagements

Assist with reporting and special projects, including ERP or accounting system conversions, banking conversions, and other finance initiatives

Support the Finance team with other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For

Two to four years of accounting experience in a similar role or environment
-
Strong practical knowledge of accounting practices and standards
-
Proficiency with Microsoft and other office tools

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
-
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
-
A collaborative mindset and willingness to support team priorities
-
Experience with QuickBooks, Salesforce, NetSuite or other ERP systems would be considered an asset
Compensation
Salary Range: $60,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
