Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Tasks: Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Maintain general ledgers and financial statements. Post journal entries. Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports. Reconcile accounts. Review bids and negotiate costs. Monitor financial control systems. Maintain financial records. Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure. Collect and analyze financial records of a business, such as financial statements, budgets, projections and sales data. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Analyze financial documents and reports. Prepare reports and audit findings. Assist in preparing annual budgets.
