About the role
Job Title: Digital Marketing Consultant Duration: 12 months Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Description: Provides expertise in the design, development, management and implementation of assigned strategic initiatives from business case development through to execution. Develops business goals and key performance metrics to support initiative/program monitoring and enable insights. Ensures cross-group coordination and logistical support for the implementation of change. Works across to deliver specific initiative/program results in alignment with overall group goals.
• Fosters a culture aligned to purpose, values and strategy and role models values and behaviours in all that they do. • Ensures alignment between values and behaviour that fosters diversity and inclusion. • Regularly connects work to purpose, sets inspirational goals, defines clear expected outcomes, and ensures clear accountability for follow through. • Builds interdependent teams that collaborate across functional and operating groups to create the highest value for all stakeholders. • Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group for assigned initiatives/business programs. • Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business. • Assists in the development of strategic plans and holistic business programs. • Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making. • Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy. • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders. • Ensures alignment between stakeholders. • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations. • Employs systems (e.g. customized exception reports, tracking reports etc.) to manage information. • Integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis and/or streamlined reporting. • Monitors and tracks performance and addresses any issues. • Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards. • Participates in change management activities. • Provides input into the planning and implementation of strategic insights programs. • Reviews the ongoing programs for effectiveness, considers industry trends and recommends enhancements; makes changes as required. • Focus is primarily on business/group within; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus. • Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support. • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules. • Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations. • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications: • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Combination of Financial Services and Technology exposure; solid understanding of digital issues/trends and how to leverage technology for competitive advantage. • In-depth knowledge of digital channels and workplace technology platforms and services. • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
