Harvard Developments has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable & Office Clerk (18-month contract) to join its facility management team in Edmonton, Alberta. Harvard is a full-service real estate management company based in Western Canada that is recognized for its reputation in leadership, flexibility, quality and performance. The company oversees over 9 million square feet of commercial properties with regional offices in Regina, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg. The successful candidate is primarily accountable for providing an exceptional customer experience in dealing with suppliers, contractors and internal personnel while processing accounts payable, administering service contracts, and supplier contact management; along with related business communication, general office and real estate administration duties for an assigned portfolio. What you will bring to the job: High school graduation and office administration courses equal to one year of study; Three or more years of experience with high volume A/P processing; Strong mathematical, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; Proficiency in the English language with exceptional written and verbal communication skills; Demonstrated computer proficiency using Microsoft Office suite and experience with enterprise accounting system software and workflows, would be an asset; Commitment to provide exceptional customer service to the clients; Knowledge of contract law or experience in administering construction contracts considered an asset What you will receive: Strong corporate values offering a respectful and flexible workplace; Competitive salary compensation within the real estate management industry; Performance driven work environment; Comprehensive orientation, training and on-the-job support.
