Accountabilities: The ITMR Database Analyst will be responsible for managing system data, improving operational processes, and providing expertise to support efficient and compliant customs operations. Manage database reviews, schedules, and ITMR system support requests to ensure accurate and timely responses. Review live shipment data to maintain high levels of accuracy and operational quality. Provide guidance and expertise on customs laws, regulations, procedures, and compliance requirements. Analyze customs clearance workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Develop, maintain, and update standard operating procedures related to system usage and operational processes. Monitor compliance-related issues and communicate recommendations to leadership teams. Regularly review client databases to ensure consistent and reliable information across departments. Support projects related to system enhancements, process improvements, and regulatory changes. Participate in relevant training sessions, courses, and webinars to maintain industry knowledge. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve service quality and client satisfaction. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a detail-focused customs brokerage professional with strong analytical skills and experience working with ITMR systems. They should have the ability to manage complex data, improve processes, and communicate effectively with operational teams. Minimum of 5 years of customs brokerage experience. CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) designation required; CTCS designation considered an asset. Strong working knowledge of ITMR and ECM systems. Experience analyzing operational processes and identifying improvement opportunities. Ability to interpret customs regulations and apply compliance requirements effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and communicate recommendations clearly. High school diploma required; college diploma considered an asset.
