Job Title: Money Markets & FX, Associate
Location: Toronto, ON
Base Salary: $85K - $110K CAD
The Client: Our client is a globally recognized financial institution with a strong international presence and a collaborative Treasury team in Toronto. They offer exposure to a broad range of treasury products and markets, along with opportunities for long-term career development within an established global organization.
What you will achieve in this role: Support the execution of Foreign Exchange and Money Market transactions for commercial and institutional clients. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders while gaining exposure to Treasury Sales and Global Markets. Assist clients with day-to-day treasury and cash management needs across FX and short-term investment products. Monitor market activity, economic releases, and client flows to support the sales team. Collaborate with Corporate Banking, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and other internal teams to ensure seamless transaction execution. Maintain cash flow reporting and support treasury-related projects and process improvements. Develop your product knowledge and grow into a client-facing Treasury Sales role within a supportive team environment. What you must bring to this role:
2+ years of experience in Financial Services, Banking, Treasury, Capital Markets, or a related environment. Exposure to Foreign Exchange, Money Markets, Fixed Income, Treasury products, or short-term investments. Understanding of financial markets, including concepts such as bid/offer pricing and market fundamentals. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with VBA, SQL, or other programming languages is considered an asset. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. Japanese language skills are considered an asset but are not required.
