About the role
Are you known for your precision and ease with numbers? Our client, a company in the business services and industrial equipment sector, is seeking an accounting technician to support its financial operations and actively contribute to the optimization of its processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable (invoicing, payments, follow-ups, collections).
- Record daily financial transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
- Maintain and balance the general ledger.
- Prepare and monitor sales taxes (GST/QST/HST).
- Actively participate in monthly closings and the preparation of financial reports.
- Produce various accounting and financial reports.
- Manage expense accounts and ensure compliance with supporting documents.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, especially in the use of the ERP system.
- Provide general administrative and accounting support as needed.
- Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements:
- DEC in Accounting or equivalent training.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with an ERP system (a plus).
- Bilingual (French/English, both oral and written) to communicate with some partners (30% English / 70% French).
Salary: Between $50,000 and $60,000 depending on experience
Hours: Daytime – Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week
