About the role
Job Requirements Role/ Job Title: Senior Associate - Branch Operations Function/ Department: Wholesale Banking Operations Job Purpose: 'To sustain better client servicing by way of exhibiting superior service delivery for Trade /GBO/CMS/KYC products and using banking expertise to support Business. To act as senior resource in terms of knowledge expertise of different Products. To provide timely support to all business & external stakeholders and to manage their requirements, which should be in tandem with internal process & guidelines. To assist and support Team Manager & Lead to achieve organisational goals as per KPI. To avoid any financial and reputational risk of the bank. Roles & Responsibilities: · 'Handle operations involving Trade Finance, GBO, KYC, CMS, Clearing with respect to Branch process. · Responsible for ensuring quick turn-around time and error-free processing of transactions. · Responsible for monitoring the Customer calls/queries and meeting the oversall customer expectation. · Performing daily reconciliation of the transactions handled during the day. · Performing daily reconciliation of internal suspense accounts. · Ensuring details are properly captured in the Inventory Registers like DD, Cheque, Bank Guarantees etc, as the case may be. · Demonstrating good product understanding and process knowledge for mentioned products in interactions with customers. · Ensuring basic hygiene of the operations at the branch interms of Customer Service, Record keeping & Audit. · Highlighting/Suggesting ideas in area of operations. · Support /assist Associate in executing day to day operations. · Ensure all regulatory reporting and adherence to compliance related aspects for branch. · Driving & publishing periodical reporting / MIS as required by Branch Operation Managers. · Helps the branch in identification of gaps in SOP and elimination of manual steps. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s in Any Stream
Experience: 3–6 Years of experience in Banking with a good understanding of General banking operations/KYC/Trade Finanace/CMS.
