We are looking for a Windows Server & End User Computing Specialist (L3) to work with one of our clients, an international bank based in Montreal
Mission The main objective of this position is to take part in the Workspace EUC team as a server specialist to manage all the servers and various products EUC provides such as BeyondTrust Remote Support, Lexmark Markvision, LRS Printing Solution and manage the configuration of network printers across Americas, also some separated Intune infrastructure managing workstations. The scope is not limited to those products but to any involved or activity related to servers and printers for the Americas region. Ultimately, as part of the End User Computing team, the person will also interact with workstations and end users, providing support for the applications under their management. Additionally, support the patching, firmware update and remediation of security vulnerabilities on servers, products and workstations, and provide level 3 management for end users and workstations, assisting other IT teams including Service Desk when they cannot resolve the issues happening on workstations.
RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the server lifecycle (creation, patching, remediation, decommission) Own and maintain the Printing Solution Act as main actor maintaining the segregated Intune infrastructure, applying patches, deploying packages and scripts, and generating reports for virtual and physical workstations Participate in local and global projects to implement server-based solutions Provide expert support, management and evolution of the applications/servers supported, extending actions to workstations and end users Assess variables and situations happening with other IT teams that can impact the servers and solutions under their scope, proactively recommending actions Follow strict processes of Change Management and application lifecycle deployment
Profile REQUIREMENTS Mandatory Over 7 years as technical expert support managing Microsoft Windows clients (Windows 10/11) Over 5 years as technical expert support managing Microsoft Windows servers 2016, 2019 and 2022 Over 3 years as technical expert support managing workstations through Intune, deploying patches, packages, generating reports, executing scripts and other day-to-day tasks Expert knowledge of PowerShell and shell scripting to create, understand, adapt and deploy towards workstations Expert knowledge of IT infrastructure of network and firewall concepts: networks, firewall rules, etc. Strong experience and knowledge of ITIL methodology, particularly Incident, Problem and Change Management Strong experience and knowledge of Active Directory related to user, group, group policy and computer object management Knowledge of application lifecycle processes towards migration and upgrades Strong knowledge of Project Management concepts Experience supporting network printer configuration Excellent written and verbal communication skills Service oriented, positive, committed and enthusiastic team player Availability to work and perform tasks out of business hours (8am to 6pm) Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Nice to Have Strong experience managing LRS Printing Solution
LANGUAGE:
Fluent English is mandatory since the role supports multiple countries in the Americas region.
