 About the role Join the Vendor Management team, in the Senior Office, Vendor Management position. In this role you will be responsible for maximizing vendor value and performance throughout the outsourcing and contracting lifecycle. You will manage a portfolio of high-value and business-critical contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, strong governance practices, and effective vendor relationship management.   What you will do:  

Lead the end-to-end management of strategic vendor relationships, overseeing critical business and data service agreements throughout the vendor lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. Manage a portfolio of high-value and business-critical contracts, ensuring vendors deliver quality services, meet contractual obligations, and support organizational objectives. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across business, procurement, finance, risk, IT security, privacy, and legal teams to facilitate informed vendor management and contracting decisions. Drive vendor governance and performance management programs, developing monitoring plans, tracking key performance indicators, and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Identify, assess, and mitigate vendor-related risks, ensuring all third-party arrangements align with the organization's risk management framework and business continuity requirements. Analyze vendor performance, operational, and financial data to provide actionable insights, recommendations, and reporting that support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement. Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for vendor-related matters, resolving performance issues, managing contract changes, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Champion process improvement and value creation, recommending enhancements to vendor management practices, policies, and controls to drive efficiency, innovation, and measurable business outcomes.

  What you should have:  

A post-secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of five years of experience in vendor management, contract management, procurement, or a related field. A proven experience managing third-party vendors and strategic supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. A demonstrated expertise in procurement and contracting processes, including the preparation, evaluation, and administration of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and vendor agreements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks, interpret financial and performance data, and provide strategic recommendations. Experience developing executive-level reports, presentations, and briefing materials, with the ability to communicate complex information to senior leaders clearly and effectively. Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships across multiple business functions and external partners. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills, adaptability, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.

  It will be great if you also have:  

Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation. Experience with Lean Six Sigma and process improvement, supported by strong organizational skills, adaptability, resourcefulness, and attention to detail. Knowledge of vendor management, strategic sourcing, and risk management. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
