About the Role This remote role sits within the Finance department and supports accounting operations across three Moncel business units: MAU, MCA, and MUS. You report directly to Shruti to maintain daily consolidation of deposits, receivables, and collections. You perform bank, account, and Stripe reconciliations, manage Magento transaction matching, process accounts payable and receivable, and prepare basic journal entries. You also support month-end close, special projects, and ad hoc tasks as they arise. What You’ll Be Doing Consolidate daily deposits, receivables, and collections across MAU, MCA, and MUS Post and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable per company policy Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, Stripe payments, and Magento transactions Prepare weekly accounts receivable reports and pre-purchase summaries Reconcile payroll entries against Wagepoint and BambooHR Complete month-end reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules Maintain audit-ready records and document standard operating procedures What You Have Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel Strong numerical and analytical skills Experience with accounting policies and internal controls Comfort learning and using systems like Xero, Magento, Stripe, and Salesforce Detail oriented with problem-solving abilities Tech savvy and open to asking questions Clear communication and collaboration skills Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks Your Qualifications Degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience At least two years of accounting or finance coordination experience Experience in e-commerce transaction reconciliation is an asset Familiarity with business-to-business invoicing and credit management Understanding of month-end close processes What we're offering Fully remote work within a global team Opportunities for professional growth and skill development Exposure to cross-functional finance and operations projects Collaborative environment with experienced finance leaders Structured onboarding and mentorship Contribution to a company committed to charitable causes Access to industry-leading tools and training The hiring process at Moncel is designed to select the best candidates for high performance team.
