We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Finance Analyst to join our Finance team. Based in Mulgrave, Nova Scotia, this hybrid role provides Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) support across KD Pharma Canada (Mulgrave), KD Nutra (Miami, USA), and KD Peru, while serving as the primary finance business partner for the Mulgrave manufacturing site.

Role Summary The Regional Finance Business Partner is responsible for supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational analysis across KD Pharma's North and South American operations. This role partners closely with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial, and Site Leadership to provide financial insights that improve business performance, strengthen decision-making, and support strategic initiatives.
Reporting to the Regional Finance Leader, the successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to operational leaders while supporting regional FP&A activities across Canada, the United States, and Peru. The role combines financial analysis, business partnering, and operational insight to help drive profitability, improve operational efficiency, and support long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities FP&A Support the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial outlook processes across regional operations. Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, executive presentations, and management dashboards. Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year performance, identifying key business drivers and financial risks. Develop and maintain financial models to support operational planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives. Analyze operating expenses, manufacturing costs, profitability, and financial performance across multiple business units.
Regional Support Provide FP&A support for KD Pharma Canada (Mulgrave), KD Nutra (Miami), and KD Peru. Consolidate regional financial results and prepare performance reporting for North and South American leadership. Standardize financial reporting, KPIs, and dashboards across regional operations. Support monthly and quarterly business reviews by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Benchmark manufacturing performance, labour productivity, inventory management, and operating costs across sites to identify best practices and improvement opportunities. Partner with regional finance colleagues and Global Finance to improve reporting consistency, planning processes, and financial governance.
Business Partner Act as the primary finance business partner to the Mulgrave manufacturing operation. Partner with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Commercial leaders to support informed business decisions. Translate financial data into actionable insights that improve operational and financial performance. Evaluate capital investments, organizational initiatives, productivity improvements, and cost reduction opportunities through robust financial analysis. Support department leaders in understanding financial performance and achieving budget objectives. Manufacturing Finance Analyze labour efficiency, material consumption, production yields, waste, scrap, and manufacturing variances. Investigate operational cost drivers and recommend opportunities to improve profitability and productivity. Support standard costing processes, inventory valuation, and cost roll activities. Monitor inventory performance, working capital, and manufacturing KPIs. Assist with financial evaluation of continuous improvement initiatives across regional manufacturing operations.
Reporting & Business Analytics Develop, maintain, and enhance financial dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting tools. Utilize Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems to analyze large datasets and identify trends. Support automation and continuous improvement of reporting processes. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial information across the region. Support month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis. Review departmental spending, labour costs, and headcount variances. Prepare monthly financial commentary explaining key business drivers and operational performance. Support internal and external audit requirements while ensuring compliance with company financial controls. Qualifiacaitons Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. 3–5 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance, Manufacturing Finance, or a Finance Business Partner role. Experience supporting a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, financial modelling, and data analysis. Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights. Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across multiple functions, business units, and geographic locations. Preferred Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites or regional finance operations. Knowledge of standard costing, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing financial analysis. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or comparable ERP systems. CPA, CMA, CFA, or progress toward a professional finance designation is considered an asset.
