Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across the managed home services marketplace. The COO will lead operational planning and execution, align cross-functional teams, and ensure processes support sustainable growth, service quality, and customer satisfaction. This role includes managing budgets and financial performance, optimizing workflows, monitoring key performance indicators, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The COO will collaborate closely with the executive team on business strategy, support talent development within operations, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards. The position requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a hands-on approach to solving operational challenges. Qualifications Ability to develop and implement effective business planning and strategic initiatives. Strong operations management skills, including process optimization and performance monitoring. Advanced analytical skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making. Experience in finance and budgeting, with a track record of managing operational P&L. Proven leadership experience in marketplace, technology, or services-based organizations. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to build and mentor high-performing teams. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree is an asset.
